Christos Nikou

Christos Nikou (Athens) is a self-taught director, screenwriter, and producer. In 2012. he directed his only short film, Km, which participated in over 40 international film festivals. His first feature film, Apples, opened the Venice Orizzonti section in 2020, playing at Telluride and TIFF that same year. Greece’s submission for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film, Apples was released in more than 70 countries and was named one of the top five international films by the National Board of Review.

In 2023, Nikou made his English-language debut with Fingernails, starring Jessie Buckley, Riz Ahmed, Jeremy Allen White and Luke Wilson, which he directed, co-wrote and co-produced with Cate Blanchett’s Dirty Films and Filmnation. The film premiered at Telluride, TIFF, San Sebastian and was released worldwide by Apple.

At the moment he is working on his third feature film, Background, produced by Heyday Films.

Lorne MacFadyen

Lorne MacFadyen trained as an actor at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. He is signed with Curtis Brown Talent and has been working as a professional actor in screen and stage for over a decade.

He had a breakout role as the villain in the Emmy winning, BAFTA winning hit BBC series ‘Vigil’.

He has worked with an array of award winning directors including Danny Boyle, Ken Loach, David Mackenzie, Lenny Abrahamson and John Madden.

His screen credits include - Outlaw King, Operation Mincemeat, Vigil, Starstruck, The Little Stranger, The Liberator, Tina and Bobby, Grantchester and Danny Boyle’s Sex Pistol’s biopic Pistol,Six Four,Malpractice, and Helen Walsh’s 2026 critically acclaimed sophomore feature ‘On The Sea’ which premiered at Edinburgh International Film Festival.

He is set to star next in an array of screen roles including SAS Rogue Heroes, Rebus and The Siege as well as more to be announced.

Carole K. Millar

Carole is a Scottish costume designer and a fiercely proud Glaswegian, whose work is deeply rooted in the stories, identities, and lived experiences of real people. Across film, television, theatre and events, she is known for creating authentic, character-driven costumes that reflect the truth, nuance and individuality of the worlds she builds.

Her film credits include California Schemin’, the directorial debut from James McAvoy, and Glenrothan, directed by Brian Cox. In TV, Carole designed the original HBO series Half Man, created by Emmy award-winner Richard Gadd (Baby Reindeer).

Carole also designed Laura Carreira’s acclaimed feature On Falling, as well as the BBC/Two Brothers series Dinosaur, Granite Harbour and Lovesick for Netflix. Most recently, she collaborated with Synchronicity Films on the anticipated Channel 4 drama Careless, Rhino for Sixteen Films, Synchronicity Films TV drama The Young Team, and The Opening Ceremony of Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026.

Grounded in her Scottish heritage, Carole brings a distinctive voice to her work—championing realism, emotional honesty, and the power of costume to tell human stories with depth and integrity.
