Are you passionate about independent film, events or film education? Are you looking to gain festival experience? Do you want to meet like minded film enthusiasts and industry professionals? Volunteer with IFFG!

With a positive and friendly attitude, our Volunteer Events Assistants will welcome audiences and guests, direct them to the screenings, provide information about the festival and help set up our events. If you would like to gain first hand experience in a film festival, and get exclusive access to our events, do not hesitate to get in touch!

Please apply by sending a brief cover letter (300 words max) outlining your experience/interest in film and stating why you would like to volunteer with IFFG to hello@iffg.co.uk before 15th October.

Volunteers should be available for a minimum of 2 half day shifts during the festival (unless otherwise specified). The festival will take place from Wednesday 12th to Sunday 16th of November 2025 in various Glasgow venues including The Grosvenor Picture Theatre and The Social Hub. Local travel expenses will be reimbursed.
